The water is chilly, but once you're numb it's not quite so noticeable, and the sun helps a lot to warm things up.

Katherine is pleased to be able to go on the slide and diving boards with little or no wait.

My Class

Today was my last day of school, and my last day with my classmates at Allen Brook.  We took a class picture so that I can remember everybody.  Next year I will be in second grade at Trinity, with my big brother, but he's gonna be in sixth grade.

Using the Kids' Library

Night Sky Museum

Tonight is Katherine's Night Sky Museum night.

Each kid worked on a project about the sun, stars, planets, or moon. Some did models demonstrating how the Earth rotates around the sun AND around it's own access, others researched characteristics of their chosen celestial body, and some wrote about constellations.

Katherine wrote about Leo, the Lion, and built a board showing the major starts (in tinfoil) that make up the Lion.
