My first car!

Now that we are back from our Summer 2011 Inaugural Camping Trip, it's time to clean out the camper (lots of sand, and wet stuff from the rain) and prepare for the first week of summer vacation (yes, I know that Patrick has been on vacation for two weeks already, but with Katherine still in school, I don't think it totally counts).

The big excitement of today (if you don't count cleaning out the camper) is katherine's new convertible Mustang! The battery will be on the charger until tomorrow, but today I got the car built and she's very excited. It's a bit anticlimactic to not be able to drive her new car, but she will be eager to get home from swim lessons tomorrow!

Today Katherine and I went to Jericho Settlers Farm to get our first CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) share of the summer. We get to do this every Monday all summer, that means lots of good yummies.

My Haircut

Last week, I decided it was time for a new look. I know that my mom likes my hair long and all that, but it's always getting in my face so I decided to take things into my own hands. Besides, Patrick left his scissors lying around. What was I supposed to do? Just ignore them? (Oh, yea, and I cut up a pair of socks, underpants, leggings, a hat, and a few ribbons as well. I had a lot of fun!).
