Perler Beads - Mandala

Katherine has spent hours in the project area working on her perler bead designs. This is her most intricate design ever. It's about six inches across.

School Picture

Katherine had her school picture taken at the same time Patrick did, but because of a mix up, she did not receive any printed pictures (as ordered). The problem was solved and the pictures were ordered with the "retake" kids and now we have a picture of third grade Katherine and her third grade class.

(One of these days, that girl will learn to brush her hair...especially before a picture!)

Help!

So, my daughter is afraid (or has convinced herself that she is) of dogs. We are dog-sitting for friends. On our way home from Outreach for Earth Stewardship (where Patrick volunteers) today, Cloudy (the dog) jumped up in Katherine's lap.

Patrick and I were so busy laughing that we couldn't "save" her.

Fair Day!

It's the last day of the fair and it's mother-daughter day (which means the boys are at home).

AND, Katherine is officially tall enough to ride ALL the rides by herself!
