Enough sharing already!

Katherine and I sit in the car every week while Patrick has his guitar lesson. This week I forgot to bring the Nintendo 3DS for Katherine to play with. Fortunately, there was a Calvin & Hobbes book in the car, but even that didn't keep her attention very long, and eventually I had to give up my Kindle...again.

I wonder if it's time to get her one of her own.

My lessons on sharing may have just backfired. I think I just lost my Kindle!...to my seven year old!

It's not even a Kindle Fire with video games, movies, and books in color. It's just a plain-text first generation Kindle. She's reading Sleeping Beauty right now...no pictures, just words.
